Birthday New Start

This is what Jayne nagged me into started yesterday. I've actually done a bit more since this photo was taken earlier today but I can't be bothered to take another photo. How lazy is that?! It's a design from Chatelaine (Martina Weber) and is from the chart entitled Mini Mandalas II - A. I have B and C to do after this one. They all use the same colours but are all different. You can't really see all the colour changes on this photo, all the different shades of greeny-blue. There are still some beads to go on round the middle and another metallic colour that I don't have as yet. And I'm up to the speciality stitches soon. Maybe you'll see them in the next photograph.
