Another Year Older & Deeper In Debt

Well the first bit is true, but not necessarily the second bit. Forty one today! Craig took me out for a meal last night, to the Astley Arms, where they do a fairly decent, and more importantly, CHEAP, carvery. Had a couple of drinks before coming home and spending the rest of the evening in front of the telly.

I was up this morning at 6.30am! Yes I know it's virtually unheard of, but hey, it's my birthday...cards to open, money to spend etc. Craig renewed my subscription to the patchwork & quilting magazine that I get and bought me a pen set; Kate gave me The Proper Stitch book that was supposed to be for Christmas but didn't arrived from the US till a couple of weeks ago. Mam and Dad gave me money. No one else is up yet.

I'm hopefully going over to Jayne's today. I know there's a gift card there for me from Lynn, and I'm expecting a pressie from Kathy in the mail. It could be this afternoon before that arrives; yesterday the postie didn't come till after 12.30pm!
