Other Good Stuff

I received some other good things today as well as the tattoo. First off was the Whitman's tins that I bought off Nicole in the US. They were a real bargain and if I can get some more pennies in my PayPal account in the next couple of weeks I'm going to get some more off her. Mind you, I have no idea what I'm going to do with them but I've seen lots of other people who have decorated tins and I'm going to use them for inspiration and ideas.

Secondly, when I got back from the tattooist, this was waiting for me next door. An overlocker. I've wanted one of these for absolutely ages but have no idea how to work one, so that could be interesting. It's got as far as being taken out of the box and that's it. Need to find an empty socket to plug it into.

I bought some of the tins as well...aren't they wonderful! I am going to stitch the coordinating Fancy Work sewing sets for these. I have had the charts, and had been searching for the tins!

I suggest you sign up for a class! Sometimes threading the serger is tricky. It's nice to have someone there to hold your hand while you're learning about a new machine and trying it out. I love my serger!!

And I love your tattoo!

Oh you are either brave or .... lol getting an overlocker. I got one. I couldn't work it out at all - not even with the instructions. Threading it was the worst. As Von says, I suggest you take a class or get someone who know's how to use them to teach you.

What are those bags BTW that you're selling on your site - they look like they have a strap and a large cushion on the end. I've never seen one before - what are they for?

Cool tattoo. Took me a while to work it out (sad I know). I need to design one for me to with Riley's name on there.

Lovely tins. Looking forward to seeing what you do with those.

Mum and I bought an overlocker about 5 years ago. For the first 2 years Mum was really scared of it!! But she has the hang of it now, thank goodness. They are so handy, you will wonder why you didn't have one before.
