Don't you just hate it when...

...you spill beads all over the floor? Dark burgundy beads on a green carpet with a thickish pile. The beads you need to put on something you're working on right that minute. This happened to me this afternoon while I was stiching on AFS (pic below). The whole box of bloody beads. I was down on my hands and knees trying to find them and put them back, and not having much success. I ended up yelling for Kate to come and give me a hand - Craig and Dene were out doing the weekly shopping - and she managed to get me quite a few. The rest will have to go in the hoover next time the floor is done in here. The air was blue in here I can tell you!

I heard that if you put the foot of a nylon over the vacuum , you can easily pick up the beads. Just be sure to hover over a container to drop them in when you turn off the vacuum :)

Ack, I hate that! I'm still searching for a charm I lost last year. Have you tried the "stocking over the end of the vaccuum nozzle" trick?

What a dreadful thing to happen. Hope you manage to find some more before the hoover gets to them!
