WIP Progress

But first a photo of Keely. Kate was down in Nottingham recently for Laura's 21st birthday. She came back with this Tigger door bouncer for Keely from Laura. Keely loves it and screeches her head off with laughing every time she's in it.

I've just finished page 5 of the first photochart that I'm doing. Instead of going on to page 6 next I think I'm going to do page 7 and work along the top and down the right hand side before I do the bottom bits. I'm really enjoying doing this, I love seeing something like this taking shape. I think that's one of the reasons I enjoy doing HAED designs. I'm definitely going to do one of those after the second photochart.
And this is a baby birth sampler that I'm doing for Keely. It's been put on the back burner for a while till I've done the photocharts, but I'm about halfway though it. I'll need to buy some charms and buttons for it (I got the chart second hand) but I'll order them from Sew and So at a late date.

I was supposed to be going to Derby on Saturday for a meetup of the Crafty Natterers. But to be honest I can't really afford to go this close to my holiday. I still need some spending money and a few items of clothing, as well as some new sandals, so I'm going to give this one a miss. It's Dene's birthday anyway on Saturday and he'll be coming round for his tea. I don't really like not seeing my kids on their birthdays.
